Ssion's is a herbal infusion, which has No Caffeine. Our herbal infusions are made from natural flowers and herbs which are hand-picked and hand-crushed. The love for teas that our non-caffeinated and aromatic led us to work towards the making of this herbal infusion. Our tea portrays how an everyday ritual can be such an intimate experience. Ssions is a lifestyle.
The Origination Of Our Name
Ssions means "GOD'S GRACE." Tea is an intricately beautiful beverage that has existed over centuries in its purest and most natural form, which can open up ways that you never thought would be possible. The availability of this naturally produced delicious blend is the best gift to humankind and to serve you with it would be our honour. We, here, at Ssions are largely inspired by the Japanese concept of Ikigai and therefore our goal thrives in making our lifestyle healthier and better each day
The Crafting Process
The ingredients used in our teas are carefully hand-plucked by our farmers. Their expertise and years of experience help us get the best leaves out of the lot. The leaves and the buds are then cleaned and traditionally dried under natural sunlight to retain their flavour and colour.
Our ingredients are then hand-cut and hand-crushed. An important step to producing a fine infusion is sipping through hundreds of reapings to determine the perfect blend for the tea variety. All our blends are crafted keeping in mind the finer details from consumers' taste buds to their health and mental peace. All ingredients are then blended and packed manually which makes it to be in limited batches and exclusive. We thrive to provide you with our Herbal infusion "the experience of nature" directly from our farm to your cuppa.
The community
Infusions are curated by our farmers from a small village Kotuli, Uttarakhand. Every farmer of Ssions is a skilled artisan, with years of experience, and to the hilt, intuition to pluck the right leaves and buds. 90% of our ingredients are grown here by our farmers. Our farmers look after the ingredients of the product from procuring to packing. Farmers are our family and they are the backbone of the making of Ssion's tea. Our little community which we have built is doing a lot of hard work and ensures that what we grow and what we procure from nature are appropriately taken care of. We give a life of dignity to our farmers. The land in which the farmers grow our ingredients is also used to grow crops for their own food and generate sustainable income for their families.
The environment
Ssions tea is working to revive the traditional way of farming in the valley of Uttrakhand. The land is naturally very fertile and so we do not use any chemicals. The fertilizer is made from animal waste and dried leaves collected from the forest and it is the ancient traditional way of doing it. As the ingredients are grown at a high altitude, it helps to improve and promote a conscious way of living as the environment is clean and less polluted. We create a sustainable environment of wellness, and by bringing a natural product to you, we bring health and happiness.
